Janelle obtained her Sales License in June of 2007 and has since been employed in the real estate industry.  She purchased Heartland Country Real Estate in October of 2010 and obtained her Brokers License in August of 2011.

Janelle was raised on a farm/ranch outside of Ainsworth, Nebraska.  Alongside her husband Mark they continue to be involved in the farm/ranch industry operating the 13 Bar Ranch located near Nenzel, Nebraska.  This background continues to mold her outgoing personality that influences her desire to strive for your satisfaction.

Through past experiences, Janelle developed excellent sales and customer service skills that she continues in her business today.  She has knowledge in various types of real estate including residential, commercial, recreational, and farm/ranch.  The qualities of education, enthusiasm, and experience allow her to consult you in making an informed decision whether buying or selling.

Mark Johnson

Mark obtained his Sales License in February of 2012.  After purchasing Heartland Country Real Estate with his wife Janelle, they decided to expand into farm and ranch real estate to become more diversified and to better serve the area.

Mark is a lifelong resident of Cherry County.  He received a Bachelors Degree in Agriculture from the University of Nebraska in 1995.  Mark then returned home to the family ranch.  He is currently the owner and the operator of the 13 Bar Ranch near Nenzel, Nebraska, which has been in the family since 1888.  Mark has been the sole operator of the ranch for the past twenty years.

Through serving on various boards and being involved in several organizations, Mark has established a large group of contacts.  This social networking is beneficial in all aspects of the real estate business.  Mark’s real estate knowledge, farm and ranch experience with hard work and dedication, and large group of contacts will assist him in specializing in all your farm and ranch real estate needs.

Ronna Morse

Ronna obtained her Sales License in November of 2016.  She joined Heartland Country Real Estate in January of 2016 as an office assistant. Ronna has lived in Valentine and worked in the Sandhills area for over 30 years.

Before joining Heartland Country Real Estate, Ronna served as the manager of the Sandhills Cattle Association for 29 years. Prior to that she was the Associate Editor of the Tri-State Livestock News. Ronna grew up on her family’s diversified crop and livestock farm in eastern South Dakota. She received a degree in Animal Science and Ag Journalism from South Dakota State University. She was also a Nebraska LEAD fellow in Class XIX.

In addition to her work with the members of the Sandhills Cattle Association throughout the region, Ronna has been involved in many community activities and organizations over the years. Her many years of living and working in Valentine and her ag background make her an asset to the Heartland Country Real Estate team.

DougPollard

Doug Pollard

Doug obtained his Sales License in December of 2016. He joined Heartland Country Real Estate in May of 2017 as a Sales Associate serving central Nebraska.

Doug was raised on a family ranch in the Brewster/Taylor, Nebraska area. He earned an Associates of Applied Science degree in Automotive Technology from Mid-Plains Community College in 1995 and served 10 years in the Army Reserves from 1994- 2004. He began working as a Conservation Officer with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission in 2002 in Oshkosh, Nebraska and was transferred to Ord, Nebraska in 2010.

In addition to his work as a Conservation Officer throughout the region, Doug is involved in the community operating a small gun shop and teaching concealed carry classes. The large number of contacts he has in the outdoor community throughout the state make him invaluable to Heartland Country Real Estate.
